About Turf and IDADA

IDADA’s mission is to represent local Indianapolis and Indiana artists on their turf to the audience visiting for the Super Bowl, another event that takes place on turf, played by teams who will be representing their own hometown turf.
The white spray around the logotype represents “making a mark” to further express the idea of “claiming one’s turf” while also subtly hinting at the white lines of the football field. The visual juxtaposition of astroturf with a neoclassical building, makes for dynamic, contemporary imagery, as does the combination of the classic font Bodoni with spraypaint.
